We are seeking a skilled Community Mental Health Worker 2 to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team at the Kamloops Mental Health Centre.

About the Role:

This is a casual opportunity that involves outreach in the community, working with clients who are living in their own housing. As a Community Mental Health Worker 2, you will provide life skills, advocacy, supportive counseling, and psychosocial rehabilitation planning to support clients in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic case management and establish rehabilitation objectives for assigned client population(s)
  • Engage clients in various community settings as meaningful collaborators in their own service planning, delivery, and evaluation
  • Work within a psychosocial rehabilitation/harm reduction framework, informed by existing psychiatric and other health professional assessments
