Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and visitors. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the site to identify and respond to potential security threats.
- Incident Reporting: Complete accurate and detailed incident reports to document security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or security breaches, and provide assistance as needed.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge as a Security Officer.
Requirements:
- Security License: Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- First Aid and CPR: Hold a valid First Aid and CPR - Level C Certificate from a WSIB-approved provider.
- Physical Demands: Be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including extensive patrolling and restraints.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required, with fluency in French considered an asset.
- Experience: 6+ months of previous security experience is preferred, with previous healthcare or healthcare security experience considered an asset.
