Job Title: Security Guard

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol designated areas to detect and prevent security breaches
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect potential security threats
  • Conduct regular checks of security equipment and report any malfunctions
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries from clients and employees
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
  • Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
  • A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)
  • Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
  • Fluency in English (verbal/written) required, Fluency in French is considered an asset
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (extensive patrolling, restraints, etc.)
  • 6+ months previous security experience is preferred
  • Previous healthcare/healthcare security experience is considered an asset
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
