About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at MSC Framing Inc. as a Construction Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build and Install Structures: You will build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Maintain and Repair Buildings: You will maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.
Work Environment and Conditions
  • Work Site Environment: You will work at heights, in confined spaces, in noisy and dusty environments, and outdoors.
  • Work Setting: You will work in a construction setting, which may involve working in various locations.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and working under tight deadlines.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Language: You must be proficient in English.
  • Work Experience: You must have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Schedule: You will work 40 hours per week.
