We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and referral coordination for children, adolescents, and their families in acute mental health crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify client and family needs, and develop treatment plans to address these needs.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions.
- Collaborate with community resources and agencies to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
- Develop and facilitate educational workshops for mental health professionals, hospital staff, and community partners on mental health issues, crisis management, and early intervention.
- Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, and contribute to statistical reporting and analysis.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counselling, or a related field.
- Two years of recent experience in child and adolescent mental health, including assessment, individual, family, and group interventions.
- Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association.
- Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
