Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to provide support and guidance to children and youth in our group home setting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in child and youth care, with a focus on providing a safe and nurturing environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and address the needs of clients, including their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support clients in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in times of need.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, counselors, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Supervise and support clients in daily activities, including education, recreation, and personal care.
  • Monitor and report on client progress, including any changes or concerns.
Requirements
  • College diploma or degree in a related field, such as child and youth care, social work, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and youth, preferably in a group home setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality support and services to clients.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, as well as a valid driver's license.
