Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Construct Building Frameworks
    • Design and build frameworks in accordance with building codes and regulations
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Install Drywall and Finishing Touches
    • Install drywall panels and finishing materials, such as ceilings, walls, and floors
    • Ensure a smooth and even finish, free from defects and imperfections
  • Supervise and Collaborate with Team Members
    • Supervise and mentor junior team members to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
    • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines
  • Maintain a Safe and Healthy Work Environment
    • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations
    • Report any hazards or incidents to management immediately
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
    • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
