Job Title: School Bus Driver

About the Role:
At First Student, we are a family of dedicated professionals who prioritize student safety and well-being. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in transporting students to and from school, ensuring their safe arrival and departure. Our team of experienced drivers is committed to providing reliable and quality services to 1,100 school districts across North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure seamless transportation services.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to undergo and pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks.
