Senior Infrastructure Solutions Architect

At Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Solution Design team. As a key member of our Technology department, you'll play a critical role in delivering technology solutions that support our business operations and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet CIBC's standards and requirements
  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to deliver infrastructure design and implementation for Technology Operations (TO) and Corporate Real Estate (CRE) projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including architecture groups, platform managers, information security, and risk management teams
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Solution Delivery Team in the implementation of infrastructure solutions
  • Analyze processes, projects, and technical risk to estimate project work effort and provide infrastructure cost and design estimates
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure design and implementation
  • Strong experience with servers (Windows, UNIX, Solaris, RedHat Linux), network, storage, and hardware
  • Experience with cloud, security, and databases is an asset
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills to inform decision-making
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
