**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure the safety and security of people and property, and maintain a peaceful environment
  • Enforce safety procedures and standards, and respond to emergencies and crises
  • Escort and assist individuals as needed, and provide support during emergency situations
  • Operate video surveillance equipment, and monitor security systems

**Requirements**

  • A valid security guard license and first aid certification
  • Previous security experience, preferably in a tactical environment or working with vulnerable populations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate information in English
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, and a clear understanding of their needs
  • A clean criminal record, and eligibility to work in Canada
  • NVCI or Verbal Intervention Training, an asset
  • Good physical health, with the ability to move quickly and safely in emergency situations

**What We Offer**

  • A competitive hourly rate of $18.00
  • A full-time schedule with a continental rotation, requiring full availability
