Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Consultant, Group Home Standards. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of quality services to children and families in Saskatchewan.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting on-site operational program reviews of children's services residential programs to ensure compliance with established provincial standards of care. This will involve developing detailed written reports, communicating with stakeholders, and providing support and training to residential program managers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive program reviews to ensure compliance with provincial standards of care
- Develop and implement strategies for improvement based on evaluation findings
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including Ministry leadership, community-based organizations, and First Nation's board members
- Provide support and training to residential program managers and staff
- Review and interpret government policies, residential service agreements, and local operating programs and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field of study, such as Social Work or Human Justice. You will also need to possess knowledge of the Child and Family Services Act, The Residential Services Act, and The Residential-Service Facilities Regulations. Additionally, you will need to have knowledge of conflict resolution theories and principles, as well as a respect for First Nation's cultural values and beliefs.
