Senior Technical Project Manager

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Project Manager to lead multiple concurrent IT infrastructure projects for our client's Project Services, Technology Services Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of project plans.
  • Track and manage project deliverables, schedule, financials, and quality.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of technical resources to achieve project goals.
  • Establish detailed project plans, schedules, and action plans to produce project deliverables.
  • Execute project plans according to established project management methodology.
  • Report on project progress and key issues encountered.
  • Consult with stakeholders and ensure readiness for project implementation.
  • Prepare project change requests for scope, schedule, and budget changes.
  • Review and approve project IT infrastructure deliverables and artifacts.
  • Develop and distribute regular project status reports and lead client project status meetings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of project management experience in IT infrastructure projects.
  • Strong budget management skills and detail-oriented approach to data-driven project deliverables.
  • Training and experience with best practice project management techniques and processes.
  • Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team of technical resources.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification.

Assignment Details:

6-month contract with extensions available.
