Job Title: Security Officer - Fredericton International Airport

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at the Fredericton International Airport. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing established rules and regulations to ensure the protection of people, property, and information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce security protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Conduct regular patrols of the airport property, including interior and exterior rounds
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Communicate effectively with airport staff, passengers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness to perform interior and exterior rounds of the airport property
  • Strong communication and dispute resolution skills
  • A positive, proactive approach to tasks
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both official languages
  • Transport Canada Clearance
