The Senior Underwriter at Northbridge Financial Corporation is responsible for tailoring insurance solutions for our commercial clientele, specifically addressing substantial technical risks. This role involves close collaboration with a diverse array of broker partners to gain a comprehensive understanding of each risk, enabling informed underwriting decisions that benefit all stakeholders involved.
Key Responsibilities:
Our Senior Underwriters are dedicated to fostering robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. They leverage their advanced technical expertise to ensure accurate risk assessments. In addition to their specialized knowledge, they play a vital role in the development of junior underwriters through coaching and mentorship within a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will excel in the following areas:
- Commercial Underwriting
- Analytical problem-solving and critical thinking
- Relationship building with brokers
- Driving success in a dynamic and fast-paced setting
- Mentoring and developing others through effective coaching
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience
- Completion of, or progress towards, a CIP designation
- A strong background in customer service
- A team-oriented mindset
