Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to join our team at Qualicare, Orillia/Barrie. As a Personal Support Worker, you will work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and perform various personal care services to meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene
  • Prepare meals and snacks
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Accompany clients on outings and provide companionship
  • Assist with medication reminders and administration
  • Ambulate and transport clients as needed
  • Document client care and chart progress
Qualifications:
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
  • Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Ability to travel around the location territory
  • Access to internet and mobile phone
