Telecommunications Specialist

As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment
* Repair cable signals and diagnose equipment faults
* Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware
* Analyze test results and adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software
* Complete and maintain test and service reports
* Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble
* Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment
* Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures
* Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets
* Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access
* Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers
Requirements:
* Basic security clearance
