Essential Qualifications:

  • A valid Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, allowing practice in Canada.
  • A member in good standing with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO).
  • Experience in a 24-hour emergency veterinary setting.
  • Strong leadership capabilities paired with a positive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent diagnostic abilities and proficiency in routine emergency surgical procedures.
  • Outstanding customer service skills that foster loyalty and trust among clients.
  • Effective organizational skills to maintain focus and perform under pressure.
  • Willingness to work shifts that include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

About Us: We are a thriving multidisciplinary hospital featuring a 24-hour Emergency Service, General Practice, and a team of six experienced specialists in various fields including Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Dermatology, Cardiology, Oncology, and Ophthalmology.

Our facility spans 24,500 square feet and is supported by a robust network of over 300 referring veterinarians from General Practice and Emergency hospitals, providing a diverse and challenging caseload. Our veterinarians work collaboratively to support one another and enhance team dynamics.
