Job Title: Wine and Spirits Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Wine and Spirits Sales Associate to join our team at EAST LAKE WINE & SPIRITS. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cash register and process sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide expert advice on wine and spirits products, including recommendations and pairing suggestions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the display of merchandise and inventory management.
  • Assist in the preparation of merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including greeting and engaging with them in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display of products to create an attractive and inviting store environment.
  • Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce.
  • Maintain accurate sales records for inventory control and reporting purposes.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in the wine and spirits industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
