Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team at N.S Corporation. As an Optometric Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our optometrists and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Assist in the administration of tests and procedures, including instructing patients on test procedures and recording results.
    • Monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Support to Optometrists
    • Assist optometrists in the assessment of patients, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Communication and Education
    • Develop and distribute information materials to patients, ensuring they are informed and engaged in their care.
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Operate and maintain ophthalmic testing and measuring instruments, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, ordering as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Clerical and Organizational Tasks
    • Perform general clerical duties, including processing files and paperwork.
    • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring a clean and efficient workspace.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Organized and able to work effectively in a team environment.
