About the Role

The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and developing our sales team to deliver exceptional results and exceed sales targets. This will involve developing and executing a sales strategy that aligns with our business objectives, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with our business objectives
  • Lead and develop the sales team to deliver exceptional results and exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers and partners
  • Partner with the Director of Revenue to evaluate and drive all business tactics, packages, group rates and more to maximize revenue streams
  • Evaluate and recommend opportunities for developing new sources of business in all market segments
  • Remain informed of the competition's sales and marketing strategies and counteract effectively to secure maximum business for our hotels and our company
Requirements
  • A rich background in the hotel industry with experience in senior sales management
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Hotel Management degree is an asset
  • Understanding of how Revenue Management strategies are implemented in hotels/hospitality
  • Knowledgeable in data analysis
  • Excellent communications skills - interpersonal, written, presentations, etc.
  • A proven record of results-oriented leadership and team development
  • Well versed and comfortable with MS Office, Property Management systems and other sales software
