About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Medicine Specialist to join our team at Medicentres. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Treat Diseases: Conduct thorough medical examinations to diagnose and treat diseases and physiological disorders.
  • Prescribe Medication and Treatment: Prescribe medication and treatment plans to patients as needed.
  • Refer Patients for Surgery: Refer patients for surgery when necessary.
  • Order Laboratory Tests and Diagnostic Procedures: Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, with experience in occupational medicine an asset.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
