Job Title: Occupational Therapist II

Alberta Health Services is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist II to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will provide clinical mentorship and leadership to allied health clinical services, ensuring high-quality care to clients in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical mentorship and supervision to allied health staff
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective client care
  • Conduct sensory and environmental assessments
  • Participate in program development and operational planning
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
  • Three years of experience working in a community setting
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in an addiction and/or mental health setting
  • Certification as an Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) authorizer
  • Experience leading a team
