As a Field Service Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech IV - Field Service), you will leverage your expertise to conduct maintenance and repairs on sophisticated machinery with minimal supervision, ensuring a high standard of safety and professionalism. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will be vital to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on intricate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a diverse range of rental and customer equipment, exercising a high level of independent judgment.
  • Travel to various job sites to conduct repairs and maintenance on rental or customer-owned machinery, while maintaining a clean and professional service vehicle.
  • Support the training and development of junior technicians as necessary.
  • Accurately document all work performed through paperwork and electronic records (work orders) on a daily basis.
  • Assist with the logistics of equipment and parts pick-up and delivery.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Advanced mechanical skills and familiarity with tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction machinery, including a strong understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • Possession of tools relevant to the position.
  • Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 45 lbs.
