Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Smitty's Restaurant & Lounge is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparers and counter attendants.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to meet business needs, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with staff accommodation available.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
