Job Summary:
This is a Painter position in the SI | Facilities and User Services department at Université du Québec. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint or other protective materials, and performing various tasks related to painting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, repairing, and applying primers or other coatings.
- Apply paint or other protective materials to surfaces using a variety of techniques and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing defects, plastering, and sanding.
- Operate equipment such as ladders, scaffolding, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment.
Requirements:
- Diploma in a related field, such as construction or painting.
- 1 year of relevant experience in painting or a related field.
- Certification in painting and a valid driver's license.
