Sign Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Reflective Sign Fabricator to join our team at Roadway Traffic Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality reflective signs and wooden boats.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting, Shaping, and Joining Timber: Cut, shape, and join timber pieces or assemble pre-cut timber pieces to make wooden boats.
- Quality Control: Record information on products inspected and check manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications.
- Machinery Operation: Operate machine to fabricate parts and products, change machinery attachments, and load, feed, or place materials into machine.
- Hand Tool Operation: Sand, trim, grind, or clean products into final form using hand tools.
- Assembly and Fabrication: Screw, clip, glue, bond, weld, or otherwise assemble parts and components to form final products.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Clean work area and monitor machine during operation.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Noisy and hot work site environment.
- Work Setting: Warehouse and plastic products manufacturers.
- Automobile Insurance: Automobile insurance experience.
- Equipment and Machinery: Experience with cutting machine, pressing machine, and stamping machine.
- Area of Specialization: Signs/billboards.
- Security and Safety: Bondable and valid driver's licence.
- Transportation/Travel: Own transportation and valid driver's licence.
- Repetitive Tasks: Repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and hand-eye co-ordination.
- Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
