About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Chevron. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Manage and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
    • Ensure that the store is always well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the store and its products.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets through effective merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the store's budget, including inventory, labor, and overhead costs.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure that the store complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Identify and mitigate any risks to the store or the company.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language
    • English.
  • Additional Skills
    • Knowledge of marketing and sales principles.
    • Experience with inventory management software.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
