Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Supervisor to join our team at Hurricane Rebar & Waterproofing Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Site Management
    • Oversee construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
    • Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as required.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all construction work meets the required quality standards, including materials, workmanship, and finishes.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any quality issues.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit regular project reports to stakeholders, including progress updates, budget tracking, and risk management.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that project requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Relevant degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in construction software, including project management tools and building information modeling (BIM) systems.
