Position Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the workforce at WESTCANA CUSTOM HOMES LTD. This position is responsible for overseeing various HR functions and ensuring that the company’s human resources policies and programs are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Plan and control the budget and expenditures related to human resources.
  • Policy Development: Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform decision-making.
  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance and advice to senior management on HR-related matters.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise HR staff to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of the organization.
  • Payroll Oversight: Manage payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate compensation.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to assess employee contributions and areas for improvement.
  • Work Environment Evaluation: Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to mitigate risks and enhance safety.
  • Project Coordination: Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily HR operations.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience in human resources.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
