As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for managing client accounting files, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing exceptional support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Transactions: Process government remittances, produce T-4/RL1, T-5/RL3 slips, and perform related tasks.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses and prepare various management reports to support business decision-making.
- Bookkeeping and Accounting: Perform bookkeeping, write general ledger entries, and record, classify, and verify the accuracy of documents relating to payments, receipts, or other transactions.
- Invoice Management: Verify, code, and approve invoices to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Payroll and Benefits: Prepare payroll and process government remittances.
- Financial Reporting: Collaborate in the preparation of month-end and year-end reports, and provide financial data to support business operations.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate in setting up control systems and document existing and new processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Education: Hold a college education (DEC) in accounting or a DEP in accounting associated with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
- Technical Skills: Excellent command of the Office suite, proficiency in Acomba and Quickbook software, and intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills, rigor, attention to detail, and dynamism, professionalism, and courtesy.
