Food Service Manager

Empire Diner is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that work schedules are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to provide excellent customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Operations: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
- Teamwork: Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, establishing work schedules and ensuring that the team is working efficiently.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check and basic security clearance required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week.
- English Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
