Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Highway Host Curry House.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising a team of staff who prepare and portion food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports on food and service quality, and address customer complaints or concerns.
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys and establish work schedules to ensure smooth operations.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic security clearance and criminal record check.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work under pressure.
