Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Sudbury Retirement Manor. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our resident rooms and common areas.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
- Stock Management: Stock linen closet and handle and report lost and found items.
- Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items and provide basic information on facilities.
- Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene and launder clothing and household linens.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be required to lift heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel, and stand for extended periods. Overtime may be required.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
