Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Sudbury Retirement Manor. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our resident rooms and common areas.
Responsibilities:- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
- Housekeeping Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
- Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and values and ethics.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
