Job Overview:

Position: Superintendent - Water Division

Project Focus: Water and Civil Infrastructure Initiatives

As a Superintendent within the Water Division, you will take charge of planning, organizing, and overseeing construction projects, with a particular emphasis on structural concrete applications, including water-retaining structures. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and within financial parameters. A significant part of your role will involve mentoring junior Superintendents and field staff, fostering their professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in preconstruction planning and services
  • Oversee site staffing, quality assurance, and safety protocols
  • Assess construction methodologies and material requirements
  • Coordinate activities among various trades and subcontractors
  • Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and programs
  • Recruit, train, and supervise field personnel
  • Support project meetings and facilitate issue resolution
  • Manage project financials and productivity

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in construction
  • Proven background in constructing concrete water-retaining structures
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical installations
  • Understanding of project scheduling and planning principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Consistent employment history in water-related projects
  • Dual ticket and/or Millwright qualifications are advantageous

Compensation Package:

  • Annual Salary Range: $105,000 - $137,500
  • Compensation determined by education and experience
