Remote Opportunity for Canadian Residents
Company Overview
Adoc Talent Management is in search of Social Research Analysts for its client, an innovative organization that integrates extensive data analysis with social science methodologies. This company is at the forefront of technology-driven ethnographic research, providing a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that sets new standards in the industry. They are currently expanding their team of Social Research Analysts to enhance their service offerings.
Position Overview
This role presents a unique chance to engage in a dynamic, interdisciplinary setting. You will be involved in diverse research projects ranging from sustainable food packaging solutions to advancements in women's health. The insights derived from your research will empower clients to make informed decisions that secure their future business strategies.
In this position, you will face numerous challenges and will cultivate expertise in SaaS platforms and methodologies. Regular collaboration with a team of researchers will be essential as you work to produce comprehensive analyses and reports utilizing the SaaS tools.
Your role will require you to build and maintain effective relationships both within the organization and with external stakeholders to achieve business goals. You will also engage with clients through presentations of research findings, typically conducted via video conferencing, from initial project discussions to final deliverables.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in fields such as Anthropology, Political Science, Sociology, History, or other relevant social sciences. A strong grasp of established concepts in cultural anthropology or sociology is essential.
Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in an additional language (such as Mandarin, Portuguese, Japanese, German, or French) is considered an asset.
Preference will be given to candidates who have either been raised in Canada or have resided in North America for a minimum of ten years, as this background will aid in understanding the cultural context of the majority of the clients.
You should thrive in collaborative environments focused on large-scale projects, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and quality assurance. Exceptional analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial. Proficiency in technology, including presentation software and communication tools, is also necessary.
The ability to work efficiently under pressure, learn quickly, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is vital. This position requires a high degree of organization and independence, along with the capacity to prioritize effectively.
As a Social Research Analyst, you will flourish in an environment that demands autonomy and intellectual curiosity. Successful candidates will be proactive leaders with the opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking organization.
We appreciate your interest in this position and encourage you to submit your application, including your CV, cover letter, list of publications and patents, and salary expectations, to Adoc Talent Management.
