Job Summary

BWXT Canada Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our Field Services team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing complex nuclear projects, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project phases, including proposal, pre-deployment, execution, and close-out, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead large, complex teams, including engineering, nuclear engineering, project planners/cost estimators, QA/QC, and field operations at nuclear utilities.
  • Develop and implement project execution plans, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, commercial, engineering, and operations, to develop winning proposals and deliver high-quality project outcomes.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to ensure project profitability and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering or equivalent, along with 15 years of related experience.
  • In-depth understanding of nuclear engineering principles, nuclear reactor operations, nuclear safety, radiation protection, and related regulations.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex nuclear projects, including plant construction, maintenance, decommissioning, waste management, and related activities.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coordinate large teams and drive project success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
