Job Title: Parts Warehouse/Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Warehouse/Driver to join our team at Western Star Trucks. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for processing incoming orders, inspecting freight, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. You will also assist with delivery and pickup duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming orders by unloading carriers/couriers and inspecting freight for damages.
  • Complete orders in priority sequence and shelve all orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Resolve discrepancies and ensure pick lists are processed in a timely fashion.
  • Utilize available tools and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Load and unload customer vehicles, including the use of forklifts as required.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized, and package cores and returns for shipment.
  • Inventory cycle counting as per schedule, and learn and retain product codes and placement in the warehouse.
  • Assist customers and co-workers in all areas of the warehouse, providing a high level of customer service in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Report all safety concerns, accidents, or incidents to supervisor or Manager immediately.
  • Deliver/Pick up parts orders as required when backfilling Delivery Drivers.
  • Cross-train where applicable, and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Able to lift to 60Lbs.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a minimum of 5 years driving experience.
  • Clean drivers abstract required.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate department demands, and able to work both indoors and outdoors.
  • Able to wear required PPE and stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to operate various equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
