The Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Visiting Nursing team in Lunenburg County. This is a casual position with flexible hours, offering opportunities to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Your Role

  • Deliver personalized medical care to diverse individuals in various home settings.
  • Provide skilled nursing interventions such as diabetes management, wound care, and dialysis.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions and self-care practices.

Qualifications

  • Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of practice.
  • Previous experience in community health nursing is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to client homes.
  • Clean Criminal Records Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, and ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
