Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Gladstone Brewing Company. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet our high culinary standards.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to inform menu planning and purchasing decisions.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions to provide personalized culinary solutions.
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, to ensure exceptional presentation and quality.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
