CMHC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, Business Systems to join our Business Optimization and Systems team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in transforming the way we do business to enable CMHC to achieve its strategy.

Your expertise in data, user-centric design, and software reliability will be instrumental in introducing, maintaining, and supporting CMHC's business platforms and applications. You will work closely with the client community and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions, document business processes, and troubleshoot data-related incidents.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in data science, information management, or a related field. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in data-related roles, including cross-system integrations. Proficiency in Cloudera Hue, Collibra, Databricks, Hive, R, Spark, Python, and SQL is required. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, DevOps, Azure, and custom applications built with microservices is an asset.

As a Senior Analyst, Business Systems, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing advice and guidance on operational data elements, data structure, and tools to interact with data
  • Documenting current and proposed business processes
  • Troubleshooting data-related incidents and supporting hotfix and long-term solutions
