Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wok Box. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient food preparation and service methods to meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to deliver exceptional meals.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet our menu demands.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing solutions to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our menu planning and inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
As a Food Service Supervisor at Wok Box, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks, and work in a combination of sitting and standing positions.
Requirements:- 1-2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and interact with customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic to ensure the smooth operation of our food service.
The primary language of work is English.
Work Hours:35-40 hours per week.
