We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor, Food Services to join our team at Montfort Corporate Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Supervisor, Food Services will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 3-4 people.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts, including on-call work.
