Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders, as well as maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities- Order Fulfillment: Use an RF scanner to determine the proper products to be moved, gathered, or distributed for completing customer orders.
- Order Assembly: Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or conveyor belts based on the necessary route for either the packing station or shipping department.
- Inventory Management: Operate a riding powered pallet jack and/or forklift to move products efficiently in a productive environment.
- Receiving and Verification: Receive processed orders, verify accuracy of order, and scan order into computer system.
- Packing and Shipping: Band product securely to respective pallet using company standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize machinery to shrink wrap products on pallets.
- Warehouse Operations: Operate forklift and pallet jack to stage or load products as necessary.
- Load Safety: Load orders safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Control: Receive merchandise into the warehouse daily upon delivery.
- Inventory Verification: Unload trucks and verify inventory.
- Discrepancy Reporting: Record and report discrepancies and/or damages as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience working in a Warehouse environment required.
- Operational Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack required.
- RF Scanner Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience utilizing an RF Scanner required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis required.
- Work Environment: Able to stand, walk, pull, and bend 100% of the day on a continuous basis in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational Skills: Must have organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills required.
