Job Title: Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at 61065 Newfoundland and Labrador Inc. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transition of patients through the healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient movement through the healthcare system, ensuring timely and efficient care.
  • Employ creative problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for process improvement in bed assignment, transfer, patient flow, and resource utilization.
  • Ensure adherence to administrative procedures and quality nursing care standards.
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment, and assist in establishing unit policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare services to set up and coordinate nursing services.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work under pressure.
