Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections Coordinator to join our team at Linds & Associates. As a key member of our accounts receivable team, you will be responsible for managing and resolving outstanding accounts, ensuring timely payment and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct daily collection calls and emails to resolve outstanding accounts
- Maintain accurate documentation of collection efforts and update accounting software as necessary
- Resolve payment application issues with the AR clerk and invoicing issues with the billing coordinator
- Produce regular reports on collection activity and AR status
- Respond to staff and client inquiries regarding AR and provide timely updates
- Process credit card payments, pull client credit reports, and maintain up-to-date Statement of Account contacts
- Assist the supervisor with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting activities
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in credit/collections
- Successful completion of a post-secondary program in Accounting or a related discipline
- CCP designation completed or in progress
- Prior experience in a professional services setting is strongly preferred
- Ability to handle time pressure situations and stress of multiple demands
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite of Applications and legal accounting software
- Advanced Excel knowledge, including VBA, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros
- SQL or other programming skills highly desired
