Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Can-Tech Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and will play a key role in maintaining our company's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with Production, Engineering, and Suppliers: Ensure that requirements are met and correctly documented.
- Formulate Organizational Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure proper management and efficient activities within the organization.
- Lead Process Improvement Planning: Plan and implement process improvements in a team-based environment.
- Oversee and Direct Process Quality Audits: Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Establish Control, Distribution, and Preservation of Manuals and Procedures: Ensure that quality records are properly maintained and controlled.
- Conduct Assessments and Propose Improvements: Assess methods, systems, and procedures in areas such as operations, human resources, records management, and communications.
- Develop and Maintain Training Programs: Create and implement training programs to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Monitor Incoming Material Quality: Work with suppliers to improve the quality of incoming materials.
- Provide Support for Failure Analysis and Reliability Testing: Assist in the analysis of failures and the development of reliability testing procedures.
- Oversee and Improve MRB Process: Drive timely root cause analysis and implementation of preventive corrective actions for quality issues.
- Review Quality Document Changes: Ensure that quality document changes are properly implemented and that product and process changes are qualified.
- Communicate Findings and Results: Communicate the results of quality program activities to senior management.
Qualifications:
- 5 Years of Relevant Experience: Must have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- College or University Degree: Completion of a degree in Engineering and Business Administration.
- Proven Experience in Quantitative Data Analysis: Must have experience in quantitative data analysis, measurement systems, reporting methodologies, and MRB processes.
- Ability to Review and Interpret Technical Drawings: Must be able to review and interpret technical drawings, documentation, and specifications in accordance with aerospace industry standards.
- Extensive Knowledge of ISO9000/AS9100 & NADCAP Audit: Must have extensive knowledge of ISO9000/AS9100 and NADCAP audit requirements.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: Must be able to work under pressure in a busy and complex environment with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Business Systems: Must have knowledge of business systems, including ERP and Microsoft Office.
