About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at DESI MANDI. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our retail business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient stock management.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise purchasing and inventory clerks, as well as staff in various areas of responsibility.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Logistics and Operations: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including establishing work schedules and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and heavy workload.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliable, and a team player.
