Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Superintendent, Process Operations to lead our safety culture at the Ekati Diamond Mine. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal and contractual requirements, participating in goal setting and strategic planning, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in and advocate for Health, Safety, Environment, and Security programs
- Ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements
- Actively participate in goal setting and strategic planning
- Promote and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Meet targets and objectives through rigorous monitoring and control
- Manage technical activities and ensure safe operating processes
- Provide leadership and guidance to the process plant team
- Foster a positive team environment
- Degree in Metallurgical, Process Engineering, or related discipline
- At least seven years of progressive experience in processing roles, preferably in diamond processing
- At least five years' experience in a supervisory role
- Proven communication skills and ability to gain buy-in from within the team and other departments
