Base Salary: $50,000 + Profit Sharing
Please be aware that candidates selected for this position will be expected to relocate within Canada to complete their training, with relocation assistance provided. Opportunities are available nationwide.
The Role:
As a Management Trainee, you will navigate through our four-phase program to gain insights into every facet of our operations—from logistics and customer service to management and team development. You will cultivate your own sales territory while delivering exceptional customer service. Throughout this journey, you will receive mentorship and support from experienced managers and colleagues across Canada, preparing you for a successful management career at EMCO.
Program Outline:
- Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service (12 Months) – Focused on warehousing processes, logistics, and customer transaction support.
- Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement (12 Months) – Emphasizing customer problem-solving and relationship management with clients and suppliers.
- Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales (12 Months) – Concentrating on business development and expanding the customer base while fostering strong partnerships.
- Phase 4: Leadership and Operations (3 Months) – Cultivating leadership abilities, coaching team members, and establishing strategic direction for the business.
Upon completion of the training phases, you will be well-equipped to embrace the responsibilities of a manager at one of our Profit Centre locations.
Qualifications:
- A university degree or college diploma in any field.
- A positive attitude and a results-driven approach.
- A strong desire for continuous learning and personal growth.
- Exceptional leadership, customer service, and organizational skills.
- A robust work ethic and a commitment to integrity.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Outstanding communication skills with the capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A keen interest in sales.
- A valid driver's license.
